This Oil Paper Pad from Arches has been specifically designed for oil painting, made from 100% quality cotton that is completely acid-free helping to prevent yellowing and discolouration. The paper measures 23cm by 31cm with a weight of 300gsm and features a fine grain. The powerful oil barrier on the surface helps with water and solvent absorption, letting the paint and pigment remain on the surface for a more striking effect.
Thanks to the unique gelatin stock-sizing techniques it makes the paper perfect for vigorous painting techniques including, rubbing, scraping and is durable enough for impasto layers. Each sheet is cold pressed contributing to a more bumpy texture which are among the most popular.
