Archival Oils Smooth Gel Medium is a pasty, alkyd resin medium for impasto painting techniques. It speeds drying and makes paint go further without loss of body or intensity.
Techniques:
- Use for impasto painting techniques
- Mix 1:1 paint:medium to stabilize heavy texture (15-60mm)
- Dry paint sets up, so you can still work wet-on-wet, but it remains brushable for wet-in-wet techniques
