Gloss Medium enhances the glossiness, or shine, of acrylic colors after drying. You can effectively boost brightness by applying just a small amount of medium or intentionally transform opaque colors into transparent colors by increasing the amount of medium. A transparent film will form when it is applied over the surface of an artwork colored with acrylic color and provide lasting protection for the artwork.
